I can’t believe this year is almost over! 2010 flew right on by…

THINGS I LOVE.

  • Kevin. Even when he makes me lose hours of sleep.
  • dogs. Dogs seem pretty essential in life.
  • lululemon Cool Racerback. I bought one at their outlet and bought another one last week. I love them. Shelfless! Great for yoga, great for running, and great under a hoodie.
  • wool socks
  • parsnips for breakfast
  • cozy coffee shops
  • ninja like moves through small crowds
  • running!
  • wearing a pair of jeans that are a size 10 with no problem!
  • cara cara navel oranges
  • travel plans for NYC
  • being proud to say “I don’t live on credit!”
  • deciding not to go to Italy for a week in 2011 so I can go for a MONTH in 2014!
  • the back roads
  • brisk cold, like 30° and below, and without snow
  • new plans for how my family will handle Christmas next year
  • seeing my running distance vs. time increase
  • free pints of beer and live music, alone

ANTI LOVE.

  • running in the wrong gear for the rain
  • flooding
  • pressure to find Christmas gifts
  • a forecast full of more rain

Weekly Goals.

hmm, it totally isn’t Thursday anymore. Better late, than not at all.

Current Weight: 187.7

I’m in love with the new plan! Oh, and dates! Dates make a great sweet and free dessert. And, who doesn’t love a salad the size of their face?

Weekly Goals.

  • track all 7 days. Hmm, I have no idea what happened yesterday, but apparently I didn’t track. Or had a technology error, silly iPhone.. Back on track today…
  • keep working on avoiding candy and cookies. I did pretty well on this until I ran into Friday and Saturday… those are also the 2 days I get up super early and usually lack sleep.
  • take lunch to work all 5 days
  • read more. I have a great book on wine to finish and a book on running to start over.
  • work on running! I really want to run! But, the days are short and wet and I want to be running outside! My “free” gym membership to 24hour Fitness isn’t really that great because I don’t think there is a location close enough to motivate me to go.
  • walk a total of 20 miles
  • get in 8 glasses of water! I’ve been really good about drinking tea instead of so much coffee. But, with cooler weather I’ve been downing hot tea instead of water. WW iPhone app can help keep me in line.

Oh and I forgot to post this in the beginning of the month:

Monthly Goals.

  • start a work out gear fund! I’m doing a half marathon in June and I want to look amazing besides just be amazing. I’ve set up a fund to buy myself a cute outfit for the day. By June, I should have a good budget… and I’ll need new shoes by then, too.
  • no new clothes this month. I really want to follow the new PointsPlus plan for a whole month and see where it takes me. Also, I really only NEED new jeans. I’m getting some $$ for xmas and I’ll use that to buy a new pair or so of jeans.

Weekly Goals.

My weekly goals start on Thursdays and end the following Wednesday… this follows my week for Weight Watchers.

Current Weight: 189.6

This is nothing to exciting but still exciting. I didn’t lose much weight over the past 2 weeks. There was a major holiday, snow, crazy work, the death of an old pet, an emergency operation on my cat that lives at my folks, and a cold. But, I did manage to walk, do yoga, skip a major food holiday, AND get out of the 190s!

Weekly Goals.

  • Track using Weight Watchers new PointsPlus system
  • give up candy/cookies
  • do yoga twice a week
  • eat more fruit! Now, all fruit is free on Weight Watchers! FREE! Free is one of my favorite F words..
  • attack the mess of the kitchen
  • read through at least one of the many magazines taking up coffee table space
  • walk 25 miles for the week
  • plan a lunch date with an old friend
  • sort through clothes, again, and send off the old stuff

Love list 12.1.10

Hello.

I didn’t post a love list yesterday because I felt like hell. Nauseous, achy and tired. Yuck. And, this morning I even skipped yoga to get more sleep and not be around a gaggle of gals. Stress and cold weather really can make you feel gross.

THINGS I LOVE.

  • Kevin and his idea to skip Thanksgiving in Olympia. We had coffee, took a nap, and still had mashed potatoes with dinner.
  • Abigail, for being healthy and a good vegetable eater.
  • temperatures above 32°… I love snow but I do not like having to drive home on icy roads!
  • mashed potatoes
  • Lululemon Brisk Neckwarmer This thing is rad! Wore it for a 5k, wore it under a hoodie at work.
  • Vessel Drinkware Double-wall Glass Tumbler I bought one of these bad boys for loose leaf tea! No more having to clean out a reusable tea bag.
  • brussels spouts
  • grilled cheese sandwiches
  • brisk walks with good company
  • tea
  • not wearing my sassy pants aka long underwear
  • Streaks The holidays get out of control and this iPhone app helps keep me in line and going in the right direction.
  • Black Friday deals that actually interest me… Like 30% bottoms at Lucy. To bad it doesn’t happen every Friday.
