My bed misses me.

I’m having one of those moments where I’m pretty tired and I’d love to go to bed….
But I still need to make the bed.
And I still need to finish cooking off my garbanzo beans. I love that I can buy a pound of dried garbanzo beans pretty cheap and cook them off myself and stash them in the fridge. I hate the fact that I have to soak them for about 10 hours before cooking them. I either have to soak them overnight, which rarely happens, or soak them all day and cook them at the end of the day. We’ve done the latter and it puts us at 11:10pm.
I’m an old lady and would like to go to sleep.
Actually… my plan is to walk to work tomorrow. Yup, I’m planning on walking the 4 miles to work. I’m kinda stoked and nervous about this. I will have to walk home the same 4 miles, up a steep hill. I’ll have to walk home those 4 miles because Kevin is out of town. I’m also not to sure about this because it puts me out of the house for about 11 hours. Abigail would be home for those 11 hours and would get fed 2 hours after her normal time. Plus, I wore my Frye’s to the dog park and have a blister on my heel that will most likely be gone in the morning due to the homeopathic stuff I took, but still a blister. I’m doing the West Seattle 5k next week, I don’t need any blisters when I do that! I want to do it easily, not all limpy gimpy.
Arg.

Walk it off, fatty!

I’m pretty happy with the fact that I’ve walked 11 miles already this week! And it is only Thursday!

Winter was just so gross this year, being outside this week has really been a great self esteem booster for me.

I feel great! I’m challenging myself! I’m trying to get where I’d like to be!

And every year I learn more things about myself and how my body works. At this moment in my life I am coming to terms with the fact that sleep is really important to me and caffeine really messing with it.

Since I’m feeling fresh, I’ll do some fat stats..

230 start weight at WW

205 current

160 ultimate goal

I’m 5 pounds from being the lightest I’ve been since 2002. Dude!

My mom and I were on the way to the St. Patrick’s Day Dash and got rear ended. Rear ended while stopped at stop light. In line with tons of other cars, stop and going for the past 15 minutes.

Thank you for paying attention, Mr. SUV driver. Just because the light is green doesn’t mean take your foot of the break and run into the car in front of you.

My neck and lumbar region ache a bit. I’m going to soak in Epsom salts when I’m done with this.  I made a call to my chiropractor. I’d like to see if  he can adjust me sometime before Tuesday, he isn’t in his office until then. Kevin has his personal number and said I could try that as well, but I understand its his day off.

This is the second 5k type thing we have missed. We missed the Jingle Bell 5k due to snow/icy stuff and it being 22°.

I’m trying to figure out if I’m over pronating… who knew this could be so had to figure out on one’s own.
Next week, I’m going to Super Jock N Jill in Greenlake, I hope they can figure me out. I’m so done with blisters and my heels not fitting well in my shoes.

We have 7 and a 1/2 months to find the best damn apartment we can afford. Any other kitchen has to be better than the one we currently have. For some reason my mom seems really bothered by the fact that we’d move by Nov. 30th.

We are now the proud owners of a 37 inch tv and a Xbox. I’m determined not to sit in front of it all summer.

I worked and wasn’t tempted by the crack-o-tastic cookies we sell. And they ordered pizza and I had none. I ate like a piggy all weekend.

I ran again on Friday, bowled on Saturday and worked out again for an hour on Sunday. Today, I’m doing my stupid pilates tape that annoys the crap out of me but gets the job done. What I’d really like is a 2nd sports bra and maybe some clothes to run in that has a pocket.
